- Facilitate appointment booking and video consultations between patients and doctors.

- Improve and personalize your experience on HabeshaDoctors.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Protected Health Information (PHI)
HabeshaDoctors handles health information with care. Appointment details, consultation notes, and medical information shared during a session are considered protected health information (PHI). PHI is accessible only to the patient and the treating physician, and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage), hosted in secure, SOC 2-compliant data centers. We enforce strict Firestore security rules so that each user can only access their own records. Video sessions are conducted via Daily.co, an encrypted, HIPAA-eligible video platform.
5. Data Retention
Booking records and session notes are retained for a minimum of six years in accordance with standard medical record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated non-clinical data at any time by contacting us at privacy@habeshadoctors.com.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, storage
- Daily.co — encrypted video consultations
- Cloudinary — profile photo hosting
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@habeshadoctors.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
